Qcept™ Lets You See What You Can't See Qcept offers fabs a new production wafer-inspection capability. Unlike optical tools specializing in particle, scratch detection and film stack analysis, Qcept’s technology identifies defects outside the range of optical tools: specifically sub-monolayer levels of organic, metallic contaminants, and other subtle “yield killing” surface non-uniformities. As a result, Qcept has garnered industry attention. In 2005, the Technology Association of Georgia recognized Qcept as a “Top Ten Technology Innovator”. The company was also named the outstanding emerging business in the Southeast Region by AeA. Qcept is venture-backed, recently receiving additional round
funding led by Siemens Venture Capital GmbH (SVC). Founded in 2002, Qcept
is based in Atlanta, Georgia and has a regional sales office and customer-applications
lab in Austin, Texas. |
